The AcoustiRACK Standard was one of the first, quiet rack cabinets available on the market. Since its introduction, however, many other solutions, with acoustic performance ratings surpassing those of the AcoustiRACK Standard, have become available.
Cooling is driven by the equipment in the fans as the main version is self venting. A fan tray is obtainable as an optional extra adding about 1 KW of cooling but this does have a high ambient noise level.
However, the AcoustiRACK Standard remains an good entry-level product for noisy network equipment, such as routers and switches. The AcoustiRACK is currently the only range available in flat-pack format.
Still a solid entry level quiet rack but overtaken by newer, better designs.
